NDIS invites continence providers to submit Expressions of Interest

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is compiling a list of continence providers to help participants, their families and carers to find trusted information on continence products and services.
NDIS is inviting providers to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to be considered for the list.
The list of providers will be published on the NDIS website and promoted to participants through the NDIS eNewsletter and social media.
EOI closes AEST 5 pm Tuesday 17 August 2021.
The continence provider list will be published once arrangements with selected providers have been finalised.

Research Study: Experience and perceptions of nurses operating nurse-led clinics

La Trobe University is conducting a research study into nurse-led clinics.
The researchers are looking to recruit nurses who run nurse-led clinics, to explore nurses' experiences and perceptions.
A single confidential 30 - 60 minute interview will be conducted.

National Nursing & Midwifery Digital Health Capability Framework

The Australian Digital Health Agency has released the National Digital Health Capability Framework.
I think it’s important for us as leaders in the health industry to have a common strategy going forward in how we
deal with digital health, how we understand digital health, how the different professions input into digital health.

ACN COVID-19 Disclosure Portal

Today the ACN has launched the ACN COVID-19 Disclosure Portal where health care workers can anymously report concerns about COVID-19.
ACN will review this information, and if appropriate, raise concerns with relevant agencies or government.

National Continence Helpline COVID-19 news

The National Continence Helpline - Free Call - 1800 33 00 66 continues to function during the current COVID-19 crisis as an essential service.
An increased volume of calls is anticipated particularly if consumers are concerned about accessing continence products.
The Helpline will collate this information and provide it to the Continence Foundation of Australia.
